My Vision for Ward 4 Schools

As a school trustee candidate for Louis Riel School Division Ward 4, I am committed to fostering an educational environment where every student can thrive and school staff are given the resources to provide the support that's needed.

Quality education, responsible spending, and respectful collaboration

Above all, I believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed in a school environment that is rich in opportunities and respectful of each person as an individual and as a learner. I believe every parent deserves to be heard, and I believe every taxpayer deserves accountability.

As school trustee, my priorities are to:

  • ensure schools are safe and respectful spaces for students to learn;
  • provide strong support for teachers, support staff, and administrators;
  • make strong fiscally responsible choices and smart investments in our schools and infrastructure; and
  • foster strong parent and community engagement.

Benefits for students, parents, and the community

I support safe, welcoming schools and opportunities that help students succeed academically, socially, and personally. I believe in open communication, transparency, and creating meaningful opportunities for families to provide input into decisions that affect their children. Our community benefits when public education is strong and resources are managed responsibly. Careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars helps maintain quality schools while planning for future needs.

Ready to serve Ward 4

My professional experience includes working in the Manitoba Premier's Office, in labour as a public affairs specialist, and I have served on many boards, including the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, the Manitoba Health Coalition, and Lord Roberts Children's Programs Inc. These experiences have prepared me to contribute to positive change in the Louis Riel School Division.
